The relevance of the problem is justified and review existing methods for determining overhead line sag by period conductor owned oscillations conducted. method controlling its own briefly presented. experimental installation conducting full-scale tests described, which includes (64 m), rigid fasteners at points suspension, accelerometer, temperature sensor mounted on conductor, data from are processed recorded specialized software. measurement explained with a detailed description. spectral analysis performed. results main harmonic frequency measurements, changes in A comparative showed efficiency proposed method. described easy to use (it enough install an accelerometer process it) can be recommended monitoring condition power lines. correlation harmonics amplitude was studied. It found that coefficient initially increases growth number. maximal ninth R = −0.9, then slowly weakens, remaining between 0.9 0.8. This property high-frequency used high-voltage lines diagnosis.
